Baccarat Tips - There's not much to it!

If baccarat tips are what you want, than baccarat tips are what you'll get on this page. I hope you're enjoying this site, and gathering lots of info about baccarat. I get you're just itching to get to the casino to play a few hands. Well, if you're lucky enough to live in Vegas, I guess you could just duck out on your afternoon break and play a few hands. But if you're like me, you'd rather not waste your time getting out of your building, walking to the nearest casino, and waiting for your turn at the table. One of the best baccarat tips I can give you is to find an online casino and sign up there for a free account. You'll be able to play as often as you want, and never waste any time getting there, so your time will be well spent. And that's all that you'll spend too; time! If you're playing for free, you will have no worries around your bankroll disappearing, no worries about how long it takes you to get to the casino and back. You might want to worry a bit about whether your boss has an issue with you playing online if you do it at work. But why worry about that? Just play at home. While you're sitting at the computer, you can look up loads of baccarat tips while you play too. Playing online is the only way to fly when you're learning baccarat or when you just want to brush up on your skills.

Another of the best baccarat tips I can give you is to stay away from the tie bet. That is one thing that is so unlikely to happen in a game of baccarat that the payout on that bet averages around 9-1 odds! A tie bet is only saying that you're betting that after all the cards have been dealt (as few as 4 and as many as 6), the dealer and the banker's scores will be the same. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, you should visit my how to play baccarat page and my baccarat rules page. They'll fill you in on the details. But basically, each card has a number or point value associated with it. All the number cards, 2-9 are worth their value in points. Aces are worth 1, and 10's and face cards are worth 0. You're dealt two cards, and the banker is dealt two cards, and whoever gets closer to 9 points without going over is the winner of the hand. With the 10's and face cards being worth 0, you can basically ignore them when your hand is being dealt. If you get a 4 and a King, your score is 4, so you're hoping for a 5 after that. The tie occurs when the banker's and the player's hands have identical scores. It doesn't matter what cards are in the hands, as long as the total score for the two hands is the same. So you could have a 2, 4 and Queen, and the banker could have a 6 and two 10's. Both hands have 6 points; it's a tie. But like I said, one of the most solid baccarat tips I can give you is to stay away from this bet. It's so rare that the hands tie that it's not worth it.

It really is disappointing to see a couple of ties go by once in a while, and be tempted to bet on a tie after that, but once you've seen a couple, the chances that it'll happen again are even slimmer, so it's just best to avoid the tie bet altogether.

That's about it for baccarat tips. As you can see, there's really not much to this game to make it deserve the reputation as an intimidating game. It's one of the easiest casino cards games there is. The only easier thing to do at the casino would be to play the slots!!
